It is truly an honor to share what Minister Bridgette Floyd has meant to my life. Through morning prayer, women’s conferences, beach refreshers through Developing Hope Ministries, and even the privilege of interviewing her about her ministry, I have experienced firsthand the consistency of God’s love and hope flowing through her. Watching her spiritual journey continue to grow has been just as inspiring as witnessing how faithfully she pours into others, helping them understand that they are truly Uniquely Created by God for a purpose. 

Bridgette is a force to be reckoned with—but it is not because of who she is; it is because of the God within her. Her humility, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to Christ shine in everything she does. Her book, Uniquely Created, along with the accompanying workbook, has become a resource I return to again and again. Each time I revisit its pages, I am reminded that I am the broken vessel God is still using for His glory. 

Bridgette has been a loving mentor, encourager, and guiding light, and Developing Hope Ministries continues to be a steady source of hope, healing, and spiritual growth in my life. I thank God for her obedience and for a ministry that continues to transform lives through His power and His love.

Being a part of this ministry during our El-Bethel Beach Refresher has left an unforgettable mark on my life. I came with one purpose—to step outside of my comfort zone, launch out into the deep, and let down my net. I can truly say this experience exceeded every expectation.

For the first time in a long time, I found the courage to share my story. In return, I was blessed by the powerful testimonies of other women whose words continue to encourage and inspire me even today. Through this experience, I gained more than new friendships—I gained sisters in Christ who are united by one purpose: to believe God, trust His plan, challenge ourselves to grow, and embrace the truth that we are all Uniquely Created.

Above all, I give God all the glory. During this retreat, I felt seen, heard, valued, and loved. I experienced a peace that had been missing from my life for far too long. More importantly, I walked away with a renewed confidence that God has never forgotten me. He has always had a purpose for my life, and I am learning to embrace and enjoy the journey He has prepared for me.

This experience has strengthened my faith, increased my boldness, and given me a new level of freedom. Today, I stand more confident—not only in who I am, but in Whose I am. I know that God is still writing my story, and I eagerly look forward to all that He has in store.

Simply "breathe & believe"

Out of nowhere, one day I received a call to be a part of Evangelist Bridgette Floyd’s ministry. My first thought was to say no. Not knowing what I was saying yes to made me nervous. Attending an event with a lot of women was out of the question for me. The unknown of what the event was about terrified me.

But my, my, my, my, my! This was the best time of my life.

We laughed, cried, and fellowshipped. The women I was worried about are now my Forever Sisters.

The Refresher was a cleanse for me. We all had to be transparent and participate. I was nervous at first, but my Sisters made me feel comfortable. That was needed, and it helped me open up. It helped me release things I had been holding onto—hurt, anger, and frustration.

It helped me stop worrying myself to death over my granddaughter and learn to trust God and the power of prayer. To let go and let God. To be set free.

Being around other women and seeing that we are all going through something helped me take a good look in the mirror. It helped me ask the serious questions and work on the areas I knew needed work.

I learned not to react based on my emotions. Not to allow others to make me so angry that I forget who is really in control. I learned to stop, think, pray, or talk with my Sisters when I need someone to talk to.

I’m not alone.

God is in control, and He doesn’t need any help from me.

God gave me a gift by choosing me to attend the Refresher. This was life-changing for me. I had never stayed in a condo like the ones we had. The time we spent together—not only healing but bonding—showed me that I needed these women and didn’t even know it.

God set me free from me.

I am forever grateful for the opportunity I was given. I am so excited for the 2027 Refresher and excited to be a part of something so amazing and so needed for women.
